Rotary Drier

Rotary Drier is basically used in industry to reduce or minimize the liquid moisture content present within the material by exposing it into direct contact with a heated gas or hot air. It is basically a large rotating cylindrical shell which is supported on rollers .The rotating of shell is made with the help of spur Gear and Pinion coupled with driving shaft, gear box, motor etc.

The dryers is inclined towards discharge end in order to convey the material along the drive.

Depending upon nature of product, the drive may be co-current or counter current . The firing mode is also optional, being direct or indirect system.
